Terms of Service

TrySignalHire is a product operated by Pep Tech Studios, LLC. These Terms of Service govern use of the early-access service for evidence-backed candidate packets, private role checks, company profiles, and sourced match review.

Acceptance and Eligibility

By accessing TrySignalHire, creating an account, submitting information, joining early access, or using any service feature, you agree to these terms.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to form a binding agreement. If you use TrySignalHire for a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use TrySignalHire.

Service Description

TrySignalHire is early-access software that helps candidates organize career evidence, build shareable packets, run private role checks, track lightweight applications, and show source-backed proof before keyword screens flatten their work.

TrySignalHire helps companies create profiles and jobs, review evidence-backed candidate packets, inspect match signals, and respond to sourced candidate context.

Features may be added, changed, paused, limited, or removed while the candidate and company workflows are being tested.

Hiring Boundaries

TrySignalHire is not an applicant tracking system, recruiting agency, staffing agency, background-check provider, employment agency, legal service, compliance service, or automated hiring decision-maker.

TrySignalHire does not guarantee interviews, job offers, hires, placements, response times, candidate quality, role fit, business outcomes, or that any candidate or company will act on information shown in the product.

Users are responsible for their own application, hiring, review, employment, compliance, and business decisions. TrySignalHire is designed to support human review, not replace it.

Accounts and Responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under your account. Notify TrySignalHire if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when using the service, including candidate, company, job, billing, and contact information.

Do not share account access in a way that bypasses subscriptions, access controls, security features, or workspace boundaries.

User Content and License

You retain ownership of resumes, project descriptions, proof links, writing, job descriptions, company details, review notes, and other content you submit to TrySignalHire.

You grant TrySignalHire a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, display, format, analyze, transmit, and otherwise use your submitted content as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit and share your content. Do not submit confidential third-party information, secrets, credentials, private employment records, or content you are not allowed to provide.

AI-Assisted Output

AI-assisted features may organize, summarize, compare, draft, extract, or score submitted information, but AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, or unsuitable for a particular use.

You are responsible for reviewing AI-assisted output before relying on it, submitting it, sharing it, or using it in a hiring or application workflow.

Candidates should verify their packets and role checks. Companies should inspect underlying sources before taking action. TrySignalHire does not create a duty for any user to accept AI output.

Acceptable Use

You may not use TrySignalHire for unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, abusive, harassing, exploitative, or unauthorized purposes.

You may not impersonate another person or company, submit false or misleading information, scrape private surfaces, bypass access controls, upload malware, attack the service, overload infrastructure, reverse engineer non-public systems, or use automated systems in a way not intended by the product.

You may not use TrySignalHire to make, support, or disguise unlawful discriminatory decisions or to process sensitive personal information that is unrelated to the stated hiring-signal workflow.

Third-Party Services

TrySignalHire depends on third-party services for hosting, authentication, database and storage, AI-assisted processing, email, billing, analytics, and related infrastructure.

Your use of third-party services, payment methods, job boards, authentication providers, AI providers, or linked websites may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

TrySignalHire is not responsible for third-party services it does not control, including outages, policy changes, payment failures, provider errors, or content hosted outside TrySignalHire.

Payments and Pilot Access

Candidate access starts at $10/month or $100/year for founding users after a 7-day free trial. The later candidate monthly rate is expected to move to $15/month. Company pilots start at $50/month or $500/year after a 7-day free trial, plus a 15% first-year salary success fee when TrySignalHire helps create a real hire. The later company monthly rate is expected to move to $100/month.

Stripe Checkout collects a payment method when a trial starts. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the selected monthly or annual subscription bills automatically after the 7-day trial.

Payments are processed by Stripe for TrySignalHire under Pep Tech Studios, LLC. Pricing, billing flows, pilot terms, taxes, refund rules, success-fee terms, and access rules may change while the product is being shaped.

Any paid access is governed by the checkout, invoice, pilot agreement, order form, written agreement, or in-product billing terms presented at the time. If there is a conflict, the specific written or checkout terms for that paid access control.

TrySignalHire Materials

TrySignalHire and its licensors own the service, software, design, branding, logos, workflows, documentation, and other product materials, except for user content and third-party materials.

These terms do not grant you ownership of TrySignalHire or permission to copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service except as allowed by the product and any written agreement.

Suspension and Termination

TrySignalHire may suspend or terminate access, remove content, limit features, or refuse service if it believes a user violated these terms, created risk for the service or other users, failed to pay required amounts, or used the product outside its intended purpose.

You may stop using TrySignalHire at any time. Some billing, audit, dispute, security, support, and legal records may be retained after account closure as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and Limits

TrySignalHire is provided as-is and as-available during early access. The service may be unavailable, incomplete, inaccurate, insecure, interrupted, changed, or discontinued, and it may not meet every user's needs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrySignalHire and Pep Tech Studios, LLC disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, and reliability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrySignalHire and Pep Tech Studios, LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for lost data, lost opportunities, hiring outcomes, employment outcomes, business interruption, or reliance on AI-assisted output.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TrySignalHire, Pep Tech Studios, LLC, and their owners, employees, contractors, service providers, and agents from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

This obligation applies to the extent permitted by law and does not require you to indemnify TrySignalHire for claims caused solely by TrySignalHire's own unlawful conduct.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

For disputes that may be brought in court, the parties consent to the state or federal courts located in New York, unless applicable law requires a different forum.

These terms do not include a binding arbitration clause.

Miscellaneous

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable checkout, invoice, pilot, order-form, or written agreement, are the entire agreement for use of TrySignalHire.

If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. TrySignalHire's failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without permission; TrySignalHire may assign them as part of operating, financing, restructuring, or transferring the business.

Changes and Contact

TrySignalHire may update these terms as the product matures. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms, unless a different notice or consent process is required by law.

Questions about these terms can be sent to jesse@trysignalhire.com.
