Program Manager Internship

Program Manager Internship supporting Careers in Code and Hack Upstate initiatives in a remote-first, part-time role.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day operations of the Careers in Code bootcamp and Hack Upstate initiatives; monitor and manage timelines; create documentation for tools, systems, and processes; answer questions from prospective students; promote and market the program through email newsletter, social media, blog posts, and other channels; update and maintain websites; interview students during admissions; facilitate opening and closing ceremonies; hold a weekly meeting with the program manager; streamline and automate processes; provide ongoing feedback to the team.

Requirements

Experience working in an operations role; leadership experience organizing events; background in software development; experience using Trello, Slack, and the Google software suite; experience working with Angular or Gatsby; willingness to work with a small team and provide ongoing feedback; prior experience with coding bootcamps, code schools, or similar programs. Strong communication, writing, detail orientation, patience, time management, organization, collaboration, problem solving, and empathy are emphasized in the description.
